Elizabeth Marz Admitted To Being Terrified By Heard’s Ex-Husband Johnny Depp

Elizabeth Marz, a friend of the American actress Amber Heard, said that she used to be afraid of Heard’s ex-husband Johnny Depp. Marz’s statement against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was released May 18 in Fairfax, Virginia, where the high-profile defamation case is being heard. Marz said she was with Heard in the couple’s luxury apartment when Depp burst in carrying a full bottle of wine.

She described Depp’s immediate response, revealing that he muttered:

“Get out of here, bitch.”

Elizabeth Marz went on to say:

“He ran into the apartment, which scared me because he was drunk and shouting. Everyone would … run when a grown guy came up to them and said, ‘Get your bitch out of here,’ brandishing a magnum-sized bottle of wine.”

She went on to say that she is hiding in the house because she is afraid of what Johnny Depp might do. Marz further claimed that the couple’s guests cleaned up some of the mess that Depp allegedly left in his penthouse after the confrontation with Heard. Marz described Depp as “combative” and “upset” in the May 21, 2016, altercation in which he allegedly assaulted Amber Heard.

“There was more conflict than clumsiness. Just like that he entered the room – barging in, his ferocity… It was terrifying. My heart was beating so fast that I panicked.”

Elizabeth Marz also said she didn’t see Johnny directly abuse Amber.

Makeup artist Amber Heard also testified about the actress’ allegations of domestic violence.

After Marz’s video, video testimony from Amber Heard’s former makeup artist friend, Melanie Inglessis, was shown at the Fairfax County Courthouse. In the video, which was released on February 2, 2021, Inglessis describes to Heard’s attorney Elaine Bredehoft how she repaired the actress’ allegedly bruised face for a December 16, 2015 appearance on James Cordon’s CBS Late Night Show.

“We used a thicker concealer to hide the bruises.” Bright crimson lipstick to conceal lip damage.”

Depp is suing his ex-wife for defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 in which she described herself as a “public figure who advocates for domestic violence.” Although the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor is not identified in the film, his lawyers claim it falsely portrays him as a domestic abuser, which he categorically denies. As a result, Amber Heard is suing him for $50 million.
