Biography of Bones
Elmo Kennedy O’Connor was born on January 11, 1994. His father worked as a web designer, and his mother was a fashion designer. Robert Culp, the famous actor, was his maternal grandfather. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Howell, Michigan. He also lived in Minnesota for two years. He was thirteen years old then. In Minnesota, he met a number of outstanding musicians, including Xavier Wulf, Chris Travis and Eddy Baker. The four artists created Seshollowaterboyz, a hip-hop music collective.
After dropping out of Howell High School at age 16, he moved away from his family. He moved to the Los Angeles area. Although he does not live with his family, he always speaks highly of them.

He had a gift for music when he was little. He started composing music when he was nine years old after his father bought an iMac G3. He was often recorded rapping using hip-hop instrumentals he acquired. However, he published songs online under the name “Th@ Kid” in 2010, when he was 16 years old. It changed its name to Bones in 2012.
He released his debut album “BONES” on July 4, 2012. Between 2012 and 2014, he released 12 albums. In 2014, his album “TeenWitch” sparked controversy due to its similarities to the Columbine High School massacre. He released an album titled “Garbage” on June 9, 2014, which garnered attention from several major music outlets.
O’Connor launched “Surrender Dorothy,” a project in which he prioritized acoustic guitar and vocals over rap. For this project he collaborated with the producer of TeamSESH, GREAF. The project was reminiscent of indie rock and emo rap in a specific way. Surrendering Dorothy revealed another side of O’Connor as he experimented with his writing technique. Under the moniker Surrender of Dorothy, O’Connor has released six EPs.
On March 4, 2015, he played his first sold-out show at the House of Blues. Appeared on ASAP Rocky’s “Canal St.” in the remix of his song “Dirt”. The music also helped his appearance on the Billboard charts.
In May 2015, he started working again on a side project with GREAF. “OREGON TRAIL” was the name for it. As part of that initiative, they released several songs. The plot had some similarities with the game of the same name. As “OREGON TRAIL” they released a total of seven songs.
In 2016, he created a new identity called “Ricky A Go-Go” and released songs under that moniker. He performed at London’s KOKO on January 19, 2018. During the tour, he visited countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Italy. With Xavier Wulf and Eddy Baker he founded “Seshollowaterboyz”. Chris Travis was also a member of the collective, but left in 2019.
