Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Have Red-Hot Date Night at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski continued to be one of Hollywood’s most glamorous couples at Sunday’s Critics Choice Awards.

Krasinski, 44, supported his wife on the show, where she was nominated for best supporting actress in a motion picture for her role in Oppenheimer. Blunt, 40, walked the red carpet wearing a Giorgio Armani Privé gown embroidered with red sequins and crystals with a twisted draped one-shoulder sleeve and cascading rosettes down the back. She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewels. (And twinned with fellow nominee Margot Robbie!)

Meanwhile, Krasinski wore a two-tone tuxedo with a cream jacket and dark pants, accented with a sharp bow tie.

Awards season provides plenty of opportunities for the parents of two daughters — daughters Hazel, 9, and Violet, 7 — to enjoy red carpet outings. On January 7, the couple attended the Golden Globe Awards, where Blunt was also nominated.

Blunt wore a gold gown with a sheer tulle skirt to the Globes, which she paired with Tiffany & Co. jewels. As for Krasinski, Office alum eschewed the standard black tuxedo in favor of a set with a little more character. The actor and director joined several other stars in wearing red for the big night as he sported a red tuxedo jacket and maroon trousers with a red stripe down the side.

The pair also stepped out at The Albies in September, where they looked particularly dapper as they supported pals George and Amal Clooney at the second annual awards show, which honored winners in five justice-focused categories.

Krasinski and Blunt married in 2010, and although the duo always supports each other’s projects, they keep the details of their relationship under wraps. In an interview with E! News , Krasinski opened up a bit about why he thinks Blunt is “definitely a hero at home,” especially after she orchestrated their home life during the four seasons he starred on Prime Video Jack Ryan.

“Her support through this show is what made it possible for me,” Krasinski said. “Not just in the logistics of constantly traveling the world, providing support and making sure my kids didn’t leave me when I had to go to those countries and shoot.”

He added: “I also take inspiration from her, in everything.”
