Emily Blunt and Lenny Kravitz are two of a kind when it comes to style.
The Oppenheimer actress, 40, appeared on Thursday night’s episode The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where she noted that her ensemble – a black jumpsuit with symmetrical triangle cutouts just above the hips – bears an uncanny resemblance to the fashion piece Kravitz, 59, wore to the 2024 Golden Globes.
“One of the things you brought up that I didn’t realize is … you’re absolutely beautiful, but this is also what Lenny Kravitz wore to the Golden Globes last weekend,” host Stephen Colbert said, showing a picture of the “American Woman” singer posing on the red carpet in a similar black jumpsuit with symmetrical cutouts.
Blunt responded by standing up and posing with her hand on her hip to model her look alongside Kravitz’s image as the crowd cheered. “Who wore it best?”, she asked, to which the audience shouted: “You!”

The actress then blew them a kiss before explaining to Colbert: “So I saw him strutting around the floor at the Golden Globes. I already planned this in advance [look] for your show and I thought, ‘You know what? No, I’ll still wear it.’ ”
There was a slight difference between the two looks though, as Kravitz styled the look with black sunglasses, a silver earring and a few silver rings on her fingers. He kept his hair loose for the event, and paired the jumpsuit with pointe shoes.

As for Blunt, she also styled it with silver jewelry, but with silver square earrings and a scant amount of rings on her fingers. The actress also wore strappy black heels and completed the look by pulling her hair up into a sleek low bun with simple make-up that included pink blush, mascara, eyeliner and pink and glossy lips.
Blunt noted that maintaining the look was a difficult choice as the Grammy winner effortlessly wore the jumpsuit with added polish at the Golden Globes.

“There’s something about Lenny Kravitz that I feel like he — it’s like when he walks into a room, a bus kind of runs over somebody’s cool factor, you know?” Blunt explained. “It just becomes steam.”
“Yeah, you know how cool Lenny Kravtz is?” Late show the host replied. “He makes the name Lenny sound cool… If you just looked at this guy, you wouldn’t say, ‘Yeah, this guy is Lenny.’ Apparently the guy’s name is Marcus or something.’ ”
