Emma Stone Applies to Jeopardy! Every Year: ‘I Watch It Every Single Night’

Emma Stone may be an award-winning actress, but there’s one title she hasn’t won yet!

During Thursday’s episode Diversity‘s Awards Circuit podcast, Poor people The 35-year-old star revealed that she had always wanted to take part in the competition Danger!.

“I sign up every June,” she said during the podcast, adding, “I don’t want to continue Danger from celebrities! I want to earn my stripes.”

Stone continued, “You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I never got on the show.”

Curse The actress and producer also said she spent some time preparing for the possibility of being a Danger! competitor.

“I watch it every night and note how many correct answers I get. I swear, I could go on and on Danger!” she said.

Working hard for a role is something Stone excels at. She recently won two awards at the 2024 Golden Globes — Best Motion Picture Actress in a Comedy or Musical for her role in Poor people and a second film production award when it won Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

When accepting the acting award, she paid tribute to her husband Dave McCary, whom she married in 2020, with whom she shares a daughter, Louise Jean McCary.

“This is amazing, thank you. Dave, I have to start with you real quick. I love you so much. Thank you for everything,” she said while also thanking her co-stars and director, Yorgos Lanthimos.

“The [film’s] crew [is] incredible. Tony [McNamara], this is our third time working together. Tony, our writer. I love saying this dialogue and I love horrifying you with my Australian accent. You’re the best, Tony,” she added.

While speaking with PEOPLE at Monday’s screening of the season one finale in Los Angeles Curse, Stone revealed that both awards will “come back home to New York.”
