Emma Stone is keeping her two new Golden Globes close to home.
Stone, 35, won best actress in a motion picture comedy or musical at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday for her role in Poor people and received a second film production award when it won Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
In conversation with PEOPLE at the screening of the film in Los Angeles Curse season 1 finale on Monday (in which she also stars and produces), revealed that her new awards will “come back home to New York.”
“Maybe they’re on the plane. Shaking. Scared. Unaware of where they are. I’m completely alone. Confused,” added Stone, who attended Monday’s event with co-stars Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. “But I hope they’re all right.”

IN poor people, Stone reunites with director Yorgos Lanthimos and writer Tony McNamara for the sequel to their Oscar-winning film Favorite.
In the film, she plays Bella Baxter, a woman who received a clean 10 in life through an experimental procedure by scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). After being reborn, Bella gradually discovers the wonders—and dangers—of the world and her own sexual awakening.

When she accepted her first award on Sunday, the actress celebrated the role her husband Dave McCary, whom she married in 2020, has played in her life. The couple also have a two-year-old daughter, Louise Jean.
“This is amazing, thank you. Dave, I have to get started with you quickly,” she said at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. “I love you very much. Thank you for everything!”
Stone then thanked her Poor people actors Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef and Dafoe, 68, for “absolute joy every day” on the film’s set and the “amazing” crew that helped bring the project to life.

“Tony, this is our third time working together. Tony, our writer,” she continued. “I love being able to say this dialogue and I love scaring you with my Australian accent. You’re the best Tony.”
Of director Lanthimos, 50, Stone said: “Yorgos, I don’t know what I can tell you without already telling you. But I will be forever grateful that we met. Forever. And playing Bella was amazing.”
Lanthimos also returned the thanks after Poor people won Best Picture when he gave a special salute to acting winner Stone, whom he called “the best.”
Poor people it’s currently in theaters. Curse the season one finale airs Sunday at 10pm on Showtime.
