EMMERDALE’S Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden have fueled speculation they are on the verge of splitting.
Sources say the soap’s golden couple have actually been living separate lives for months now – after 15 years together.

Charley and Matthew first met on the set of Emmerdale in 2007, and by 2009 they were already engaged.
The couple, who have three children, previously split in 2013 for two years before their surprise wedding in 2018.
But fans fear the honeymoon period is well and truly over, with an insider revealing: “Charley and Matthew were in very different places in their lives when they first got together.
“Three kids later and new careers in the mix, everything has changed and maybe they’re not the unit they once were.”

Matthew recently left Emmerdale after 18 years playing David Metcalfe and immediately got stuck into rehearsals for his new role in Elf.
Meanwhile, Charley left the soap opera two years ago and her career has been on the rise.
She is currently starring in the hit drama The Long Shadow, which is undoubtedly the highlight of her career – but Matt has yet to publicly comment on this.
Close friendships

Charley became very close to Sheridan Smith
Charley has turned to Sheridan Smith in recent months. The couple spends a lot of time together when both are not working.
Charley is said to spend time at Sheridan’s house and Sheridan has become a real support to her – both professionally and personally.
Not so socially
Charley and Matthew haven’t posted to each other online in over a year.
While Matthew doesn’t use Instagram much, Charley posts on a daily basis.
They also haven’t commented or liked each other’s posts in a while.

Matthew didn’t mention Charley during a recent appearance on Loose Women Credit: Rex
Matt appeared on Loose Women last week and opened up about their grueling schedules.
He admitted that his parents had to step in and help with their children – Buster, Bowie and Ace.
He didn’t mention Charley during the interview, but did say on several occasions how much he missed his boys while he was working away.

Charley recently started touring in the show Quiz, playing Diana Ingram.
A number of her former colleagues have already visited her, but Matthew has yet to leave.
On opening night, she received an outpouring of support from her celebrity friends – again Matthew didn’t publicly acknowledge it.
