Erin Foster is a mom!
The actress, 41, welcomed her first child with husband Simon Tikhman, sharing the news on her Instagram on Sunday, May 19.
Alongside a series of photos from the home birth, she described the baby’s delivery as “truly the craziest experience of my life, with the best ending”, before revealing the newborn’s unique name.
“Noa Mimi Tikhman is nothing like her mother who is always late, she arrived two weeks early. Being completely unbiased, I’d say she’s already perfect and super advanced, and maybe the first person I’ve met who prefers me to Simon.” she said she wrote in the title of the post.
“He gave birth to her au naturale in our bed like a beast, but he would also take heroin the moment someone offered it. Simon would like everyone to know that he is a warrior too ❤️,” she added, joking about the photos inside the carousel showing her husband how she pours a glass of wine during the birthing procedure.

Foster and Tikhman married in December 2019 in a New Year’s Eve ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. She first announced she was expecting on Thanksgiving, sharing the news on her Instagram.

“It seems we need something positive right now, so I’d like to offer something. I’m pregnant!” she captioned her post.
In the photo, Foster stood with her hands behind her back, smiling as she showed off her baby bump in the sun. Tikhman was sitting on the ground, looking at his wife while she was facing the camera.
Foster, who is the daughter of David Foster and Rebecca Dyer, commented on the pregnancy speculation in July on her Instagram Story, striking a pose while taking a selfie from a plane.
“Can you imagine how crazy I’ll be as a MOTHER!?” Foster captioned the opening shot, where she added a crown emoji above her head.
