Escape to Chateau stars Angel and Dick Strawbridge have confirmed their next business venture following Channel 4’s decision to terminate. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the TV stars announced they have plans to return to the UK in October for an upcoming book launch. This will mark the couple’s first visit to the UK since the alleged crash.
“We are delighted to announce that we are coming to the UK to celebrate ‘The Launch of a Good Classic,'” Strawbridges wrote.
“Join us live this fall for two exclusive and intimate evenings at The Bristol Hippodrome on October 22, 2023 and The London Barbican on October 23, 2023.

“We’ll be joined on stage by Arthur and Dorothy (yes, the costume planning has begun!), we’ll all read excerpts from the book, talk about the creative process at the time of writing, shared memories, funny stories and unprinted photos.”

Immediately after posting to Instagram, Angel and Dick immediately received a flood of comments from fans, with many sharing their excitement in the comments. “Just booked! See you in Bristol,” replied one. “Best wishes to all of you, lovely family looking forward to reading your book,” another added.
Fans were also surprised to see how much Angel and Dick’s two children – Arthur and Dorothy – have grown up since starring in the film. Escape to the Castle. “God, kids grow up so fast, look at how long Dorothy’s hair grows!” One fan commented.

In May, it was confirmed that the broadcaster had officially ended its partnership with Dick and Angel. Based on DurationThe decision was made following an independent investigation into the couple’s conduct on the show.
It is reported that the initial concerns were raised by Two Rivers Media – the production company behind the Escape to the Chateau series. It has also been reported that the pair had been at odds with the producers, with an independent human resources specialist conducting an investigation that included interviews with the producers and crew members.

In an official statement, a Channel 4 spokesperson said: “Following our review, we have made the decision not to work with Dick and Angela on any future new productions.” Two Rivers quickly followed suit, posting: “We can confirm that we will no longer be working with Dick and Angela and are unable to comment at this time.”
In late May, Angel was at the center of another story that was pounding after a recording of Angel defaming a crew member was leaked to the media. The Strawbridges responded with an Instagram post. “The Strawbridge family’s decision early last year to close Escape To The Chateau,” the couple began.
