Eureka O Hara Husband, Early Life
Eureka began his drag career at New Beginnings Bar after he was born on August 26, 1990 in Bristol, Tennessee. Due to the phonetic closeness between their drag name Eureka and their mother’s name, Eureka became famous after participating in RuPaul’s Drag Race seasons nine and ten.
Eureka returned to the competition in season ten in 2018, finishing as runner-up, after becoming the first queen in Drag Race history to be eliminated from the competition due to injury in season nine.
Career
Eureka participated in the ninth and tenth seasons of Rupaul’s Drag Race, as well as in the sixth season of Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Eureka continued to be a popular drag queen in the entertainment industry after participating in the 10th season of the competition.
They appeared in country singer Brandon Stansell’s “For You” music video, which debuted in July 2018. Eureka was one of thirteen cast members on Rupaul’s sixth season of Drag Race All Stars, revealed in June 2021.
Personal life
Before deciding to detransition, Eureka lived as a transgender woman for almost five years. They now use the pronouns they/they outside of drag and identify as gender fluid and gender neutral.
Eureka calls herself the “Elephant Queen” and promotes body positivity. Huggard cites Divine as a source of inspiration for his drag style.
