Due to the recent destruction of the Rainbow Bridge, Thor, the All-Father, enlists the help of his siblings to help him develop a new form of transportation to and from Asgard. Loki’s first foray into the mystical realm familiar to X-Men Sorcerer fans: Limbo. In fact, Loki even admits that Iliana Rasputina is a better wizard for the task than she is. Considering the fruits of Loki’s efforts, he was right.
Thor’s tenure as the father of the gods in Asgard was filled with trials and tribulations. Thor himself briefly transformed into the Hulk, whose rage gave him the power to smash the Rainbow Bridge in the heat of battle. With the Rainbow Bridge decommissioned, part of Thor’s duty to his people is to ensure that a safe means of travel in and out of Asgard remains available. After Doctor Strange died, Thor summoned the most powerful wizard he could trust: his brother Loki.
As the Goddess of Story, Loki is now often between chaotic neutral and chaotic good. Asking them for help isn’t necessarily a bad idea, but it’s no surprise that his attempts could lead to unforeseen consequences. After brainstorming with Loki and All-Seeing Sif, Thor finally decided to replace the Rainbow Bridge with a magical replacement, since Asgard had already gotten good practice at maintaining the Mystic Transport itself. Loki acted on that order, attempting to summon a treadplate from Limbo. When she opened the portal to Limbo, Loki admitted: “I’m not Ilyana Rasputin, but I think I can pick one without any majors —“Maybe Loki should have asked Magek for help instead of just naming names, because chaos would ensue immediately.
Loki has good reason to consider Magic as a High Witch
While it is indeed Magik’s mutant power to open the portal, it still illustrates the fact that Loki would freely admit that she is better at something than he is. Illyana wasn’t just instinctively gifted through the use of her X-gene, she also had years of training in the arcane arts. This led to her ruling Limbo for many years and serving as its Sorcerer Supreme. On top of that, Majik had been a candidate for Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme before, and Loki’s immense power only allowed him to become the Sorcerer Supreme by cheating. The fact that Loki doesn’t hesitate to praise Illyana for being better at this magic shows that Majik is truly respected even by characters who don’t seem to respect anyone.
Magik’s latest feat of magic has effectively severed her connection to Limbo, to the point that her mutant teleportation talent no longer manifests as a Limbo pedal.her final new mutants Before being cast into the X-Men this summer, Iliana ceded her reign and the role of Sorcerer Prime in Limbo to Madeleine Pryor.The seeds of this action will bear fruit in this winter’s Spider-Man/X-Men crossover dark web. Madeleine should be wary of adventures with the X-Men when Magic, a witch more powerful than Loki, is by their side.
