warning! This post contains spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Introducing The High Evolutionary, a new main antagonist who has genetically created several different species in the MCU. High Evolutionary, played by Chukwudi Iwuji, is responsible for creating and testing brutality with Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper). However, the new MCU movie has confirmed that several other species can also attribute their existence (and trauma) to advanced evolution.
in the last chapter Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, High Evolutionary launched alongside Rocket Raccoon. See Rocket as a proprietary technology that escaped his lab years before the first rocket was born guardian In the film, the advanced evolutionist hopes that Rocket’s unique brain will continue on its mission to create a perfect society. However, Rocket was not the first High Level Evolution created, nor the last. These are all confirmed species created by advanced evolution Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
King
First introduced as a minor villain Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2the golden-skinned creature known as the Sovereign has been confirmed to have been created by advanced evolution Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3While the Sovereigns appear to be led by their priestess Aisha (Elizabeth Debicki), it is revealed in this new chapter that she is directly responsible to the High Evolutionists themselves. High Evolutionary describes Sovereign as a failed aesthetic experiment due to their high ego, and High Evolutionary threatens to end them if Ayesha fails to launch a rocket with the help of the powerful but powerful piece. her own halves Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) Presence.
Rocket Raccoon and Lot 89
confirm details through Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 seconds In a truly tragic flashback, Rocket is a raccoon cub brutally torn apart and put back together through cybernetics and extreme genetic manipulation. Designated as Object 89P13, the rocket became part of Block 89, then the latest attempt by advanced evolutionary theory to create creatures fit for a perfect society. Although Rocket befriends his companions Lylla, Teefs, and Floor, they are all considered underdogs unfit to rejoin the “new world” envisioned by the High Evolutionary. While the bad guys saw value in 89P13’s brain, Rocket escaped after his friend was brutally murdered.
human
Batch 92 arose thanks to Rocket’s own ingenuity, surprising even advanced evolutionists by successfully creating human-animal hybrids known as hominids. They become the inhabitants of Counter-Earth, a world that mirrors Earth itself, which inspired an advanced evolutionary process years ago. However, future iterations of humanity and its species eventually proved themselves to be “imperfect”. This caused Advanced Evolution to detonate Anti-Earth and kill the entire civilization, beginning the experiment for future New World colonies.
Seronians
After the Guardians discovered the High Evolver and his role in the creation of Rocket, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) identified the villain responsible for creating a race known as the Xeronians. Xeronian has fair skin and a metal plate on her face, first seen in the ending scene Thor: Dark World When the Reality Stone is delivered to the Collector. Another Xeronian can be seen on the planet Xandar Guardians of the Galaxy Movie.
cartoon
Gamora also confirmed that High Evolutionary created the Anime. In the original Marvel comics, the anima are the servants and executors of High Evolution. Thus, the animated version of the MCU could be a repeat of the past or future of the human animal, or could be a precursor to his more terrifying infernal creature.
recorder
High Evolutionary is usually accompanied by two of his Recorders Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 The names are Thel (Nico Santos) and Vim (Miriam Shor). Likewise, there are many loggers in the villain’s service throughout the film. Given that they all share the common traits of baldness, bright eyes, and cybernetic implants, it’s likely that the Recorders were also genetic creations in the service of advanced evolution.
Industry New Colony Species (Starchild)
mentioned in the credits Guardians of the Galaxy As “Star Children”, Advanced Evolution’s next attempt to create a perfect post-human society in the form of genetically modified, gray-haired children. Possessing incredible physical and mental enhancement while requiring little food or rest, fortunately, these young subjects were found by the Guardians, who did not waste their time. wasted time getting the kids from the Advanced Evolutionary’s ship to Knowhere. only hinted in the first credits scene Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
It was revealed that one of the main Star Children is none other than Phyla, a Guardian from the original comics that did not use the 2014 live-action version. Guardians of the Galaxy With Adam Warlock. So it’s great to see James Gunn finally add Phyla and Adam to the team’s latest roster. Likewise, the post-credits scene reveals that Phyla (Kai Zen) possesses some degree of cosmic power thanks to her glowing eyes and hands, which could be a tease for the future. her future in the MCU as Quasar.
son of hell
in the last scene Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, High Evolutionary releases a large number of its creations on Guardians and Knowhere called Hell Spawn. Hell Spawn is described as a terrifying combination of cybernetic animals created with the sole purpose of protecting the Highly Evolved’s efforts to achieve a perfect society. Two famous Hell Spawn creatures are named War Pig (voiced by Judy Greer) and Behemoth (voiced by Reinaldo Faberlle).
92 lots confirmed (but more to come)
Although High Evolution’s Lot 92 seems to have succeeded in creating Humanimals, they were created when Rocket was still very young before he escaped. Likewise, the villain now mentions that he leveled the world and entire species many times before Anti-Earth, which ultimately proved to be a failure in his eyes. There is a reason that advanced evolution has produced more species than the 92 known waves Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, especially considering Starchild as his last gene. So it’s likely that Advanced Evolution crossed over 100 different variations in the MCU before his apparent death.
