If you see a bug cheekily hidden in no time at all, then you could be the world’s greatest bug catcher.

The amazing artwork depicts a forest scene full of leaves, flowers and sticks, but somewhere in the picture there is also a tiny bug.

Set against a beautiful green backdrop, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and colorful plants, you’d never think there was a bug at first glance.

The image was created by holiday letting agency Sykes Holiday Cottages after they recently conducted a survey of 2,000 adults about holidays and wilderness in the UK.

Fascinating research results revealed that Cosnard’s reticulated insect is the most difficult insect species to find in the wild, so they created a brain teaser to test people’s eyesight.

So despite the scene looking pretty normal at first glance, once you discover a very sneaky bug crawling somewhere in the woods, your eyes begin to open as the hunt begins.

But for a puzzle that seems so simple, the insect is nowhere to be seen and has confused many, calling the puzzle impossible.

The bug brazenly blends in with the things around it and is barely noticeable to those without the watchful eye of a bug fanatic.

If you can solve this challenging optical illusion, you could become a great bug hunter with an eye for creepy crawlies and a clever problem-solving brain.

At first glance, there is no way that an insect could be crawling among the leaves alone without anyone noticing, but the deeper you look, the faster it will appear.

The mistake is hidden deep in the photo and expertly placed which means you will surely run out of time and never manage to find it yourself.

Studies have shown that people who regularly face optical illusions and puzzles see great improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration and attention.

Psychologists at the University of Glasgow have discovered that looking at an optical illusion can improve vision by allowing you to see fine print.

And according to ZenBuisness, “These visual puzzles can provide you with good mental exercise, which in turn can help you think more effectively and solve problems more easily.”

In this particular piece, people with a high visual IQ should be able to spot it within seconds and give themselves plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the painting.

If you still can’t find the bug, here’s a big clue.

Beetles like to hang on sticks because they blend in because they are both brown.
