The clock is ticking to find the insect in the optical illusion posted by Redditor Less_force_1504 and test your attention to detail.
It may be easy to see the pink petals scattered around a sea of colorful stones, but the white spider hides better.
Don’t give up yet – keep scanning the scene.
Not easy considering there are so many crevices in the white, brown and speckled rocks that the creepy crawly can fit into.
Keep looking up and move your gaze towards the center.
Just a little more and you’ve arrived.
Now go a little more than half way to the top and zoom in closer to the right side.
Do you see the white rock in the middle of the scene?
Focus your gaze on the longer rock with the white and black spots to the right of it.
Here it is – our little spider friend is trying to trick predators, but he can’t outsmart you.
Everyone can see the shirt hanging – but you have 20/20 vision if you spot the elephant in the room in less than 10 seconds
Did you find it? congratulations!
You can declare the victory of perfect vision.
If not, don’t worry, it was hard.
People were amazed by the challenge.
“If you hadn’t said it was a white spider in the title, this might have been the best one I’ve ever seen,” wrote one user.
Advantages of brain teasers and optical illusions
Researchers have developed many tests to show how different regions of the brain respond to brain teasers and optical illusions. There are many advantages.
- They are not only entertaining, but shed light on how our brain interprets visual data.
- By regularly exercising your brain, you improve your ability to focus and observe details.
- Studies have shown that people who regularly face optical illusions and puzzles see great improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration and attention.
- Improved concentration and attention span can prevent cognitive decline in old age.
- Optical illusions can improve vision by allowing you to see fine print.
“That’s intense camouflage,” said another Redditor.
The creatures are professional hiders after all.
A certain species of spider found in China has even taken their hiding skills to a whole new level, writes New Scientist.
The species is said to have “evolved” into a flower to fit in better.

You think you’re smart?
Prove it.
You have ten seconds to spot the creature and show you have a high IQ.
It’s not easy.
The fish hides in a sea of modern octopuses, some of which are even decorated with top hats and bows.
Don’t give up – look at the top left of the picture.
Here it is.
The fish pokes its head out from behind the octopus.
Did you find it?
Good job! It was not easy, especially considering that the eyes and mouth are the same color as the octopus.
