You have a generous 15 seconds to complete the task.
If you are successful, it means that you have excellent eyesight and a high level of visual acuity.
The forest canopy has an opening above that lets in sunlight.
It only adds to the confusion, casting shadows that could mislead you in your search.
Tall trees overhang the lower ones, and moss and underbrush litter the ground.
Deer are always on the lookout for a hunter, as is the case in this game.
