A turning point in his career
Durk, who was born and raised in the rough Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, made money on the streets like his father, who was sentenced to life in prison in 1994 for dealing cocaine. To resolve the family conflict, he formed Only The Family, a rap collective with his childhood friends (OTF).
