A FORMER lead singer of pop group Spandau Ballet filmed himself raping and abusing sleeping women, a court heard.
Ross Davidson — known to fans as Ross Wild — also allegedly forced himself on the victim when she refused to have sex six times a night.

The jury heard that Davidson, 36, had a deviant desire to have sex with women while they were sleeping and many did not know they had been filmed until police showed the shocking footage.
He was accused of rape and sexual offenses against five women from 2013 to 2023.
Davidson wore a light gray suit and pink shirt to open his trial at London’s Wood Green Crown Court on Tuesday afternoon.
Prosecutor Richard Hearnden described the Scottish singer as “a bit of a sex symbol” but said he also had a “darker side”.

He told jurors that Davidson starred in the West End musical We Will Rock You and joined Spandau Ballet in 2018 after singer Tony Hadley left.
Speaking about him under his stage name, Mr Hearnden said: “Wild was a bit of a sex symbol.
“He looks very good and is physically fit.
“He sings, plays the guitar and is said to be charming and charismatic.
“His darker side is not the first thing many women and girls notice about him.
“But all the women in this case can attest to that sinister part of his personality.
“Because it is alleged that he raped and sexually assaulted a number of young women.”
Davidson is said to have secretly filmed himself raping the first wife after an argument at his flat in Finchley, north London, in October 2013.
Mr Hearnden said the defense would argue the sexual assault was a role-play with the woman appearing to be a rape victim.
Rumor has it that Davidson filmed himself caressing another woman’s breasts.
The prosecutor said: “According to the prosecutor, the accused said that he had a special fantasy.
“He said that his fantasy, his desire, was to have sex with a woman while she was asleep.”
A third woman was allegedly sexually assaulted and filmed while she slept at the Cannes Film Festival in the south of France.
Davidson is accused of filming a fourth woman making out with him without her consent and later raping her.
Mr Hearnden said: “She was being used as a kind of sex slave.
“He wanted to have sex five or six times a night.
“When she said it was too much, he forced her to have sex.”
The fifth victim allegedly woke up to find Davidson having sex with her.
When he was arrested in 2021, he said that all sex was consensual.
Davidson, on conditional bail, denies three counts of rape, three counts of sexual assault, voyeurism, intimidation and controlling behaviour.
The trial continues.
