Fans lament F1 racing driver Valtteri Bottas’ new calendar!
The Finnish driver announced Thursday that his “Bottass 2024” calendar — in which he revealed his rear — raised $150,000 for the men’s health charity Movember.
“Thank you so much for your support in November,” Bottas, 34, wrote on X. “Through donations and calendars together we raised a significant amount for @Movember — which means WE really helped and will make an impact [sic] and save the lives of many people.”
He added, “The final numbers will be calculated in the coming days, but we’re talking about $150k in fundraising!”

Five euros (about $5.46) from each calendar — whose initial run of 10,000 copies quickly sold out — goes to prostate cancer research, Reuters reported.
The Alfa Romeo driver got the idea for a pin-up calendar after a photo of his bum was well-received on Instagram in May 2022.
Bottas posted the video, which shows him naked while skinny-dipping in a stream in Aspen, Colorado, and it has received more than 440,000 likes.

“I had questions, people asked me ‘Why did you do that? Why do you want to show your ass?’ Bottas told speedcafe.com at the Las Vegas Grand Prix earlier this month. “But then when I explained the charity aspect, people got it and we had so much fun, as you can imagine, taking those photos.”
Another person who fought back a bit was his mom, he told the newspaper.

“I got a text from my mom asking, ‘What is this?’ “said Bottas. “She doesn’t really understand English that well, and she saw some of the videos I posted. She was quite confused and protective, asking me ‘Are you sure this is the way you want to go?’ So I explained the charity thing and it’s fine.”
All that said, this isn’t the first time Formula 1 fans have seen Bottas’ bare bottom.
In the third season of the Netflix documentary series, Drive for survival, Bottas allowed filmmakers to film him and a friend talking naked in a sauna. The scene drew a lot of attention from fans and other F1 drivers.
“Guess I’m not the first to comment, but I’m still not sure how I feel about seeing ALL the Bottas in DTS“, McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo posted on Twitter after watching the episode.
“I guess that’s the birth of Bottas. Hell, we’re immature. All I would recommend is a tan. Sunglasses were a kind of thing. Otherwise, fair play boy,” he added.
