Career of Faiq Bolkiah
In 2009, while a member of AFC Newbury, Faiq signed a one-year contract with Southampton Football Club Academy. Faiq was still at Southampton Football Club Academy until at least December 2011.
In 2014, Faiq signed a two-year youth contract with Premier League football club Chelsea. He subsequently signed for Leicester City Football Club on a reported three-year professional contract in March 2016 and a one-year extension in the summer of 2019.
Faiq was eligible to represent Brunei and the United States. He was coached by the United States youth teams, but later chose to represent Brunei, doing so at the U-19 and U-23 levels.
