Falguni Pathak was born on March 12, 1969 (53 years; age as of 2022). Since her debut in 1998, she has gained a huge fan following in India and abroad. She has sung countless traditional love songs in Gujarati and Hindi. Pathak has also performed at live concerts in India and abroad. She is supported by the band Ta Thaiya, which has 18 members. Falguni has also appeared in Hindi television serials. Falguni Pathak is famous for its Navratri songs.

Falguni Pathak was the fifth daughter of her parents and was born in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. There is an age gap of nearly 8 years between Falguni and her fourth sister. When Falguni was about to be born, her parents were expecting a boy. This could be the reason behind her unique dressing style. Moreover, her four sisters always dressed her up as boys and played with her when they were little.
She is not currently married.

Falguni Pathak completed her B.Com degree. (Bachelor of Commerce) from Smt. MMK School of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. She made her Bollywood debut with the song “Kya Mil Gayi Dusri” for the film Aandhiyan (1990). However, Pathak’s debut album was released in 1998. Initially, the production house PolyGram wanted her to release a ‘Dandiya’ album, but later they decided to make a pop album; as they wanted to target the whole of India.
She received folk music training from Diwaliben Bhil. She also trained under Bhavdeep Jaipurwale for 5 years.
Most of her songs center on love. Her source of inspiration is her spiritual guru Shri Aniruddha Bapu.
She first recorded a song when she was 10 years old; working with Alka Yagnik on a Gujarati film. However, the song “Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi” (1998) marked her debut in the Hindi music industry.
Some of her other famous singles include “Payal Hai Chhankai”, “Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye”, “Saawan Mein” etc.
