Finally, the last dog in the house was adopted and smiled knowing that he would have a home

Without a doubt, the only thing shelter dogs want is to go to permanent homes.

Furthermore, getting to a permanent home depends on many things like health issues, appearance, age or breed, which means that some dogs take longer to find a permanent home. longer than the others.

Unfortunately, one dog almost lost hope because it was left alone in the shelter! A Staffordshire terrier mix, Capone, has been waiting for years at the Ionian County Animal Shelter in Michigan.

The dog was adopted once, but after only a year it was brought back to the shelter, which affects the dog’s overall condition!

Carly Quinn, the shelter’s director, said Capone started losing weight after returning to the shelter because it was a shock to him.

His luck is still bad as he has been ignored for years! They walked past him until he was left alone in the shelter!

Despite everything that happened to him, the shelter decided to put more effort into finding Capone a home. So they shared his story on Facebook in hopes that the right people would see the post. And that’s exactly what happened.

A kind man named John Long and his wife Ashlee fell in love with Capone as soon as they saw him!

So they went directly to the shelter with the express purpose of “Capone’s house”. When Capone sees that there are people who want to see him, he starts wagging his tail and petting himself!

Finally, the dog that was left alone in the shelter found the permanent home it deserved. Now he has a wonderful life with nice people who really love him. What a happy ending!
