Fix My Frankenhouse, HGTV’s next home improvement show, launches this week. In the new series, two Boston home restoration experts will fix up “Frankenstein” properties by crafting ideas that work for current owners.
According to HGTV’s press release:
“After identifying the main problems caused by unstable layouts, misplaced stairs and maze-like corridors, Mike will use his construction expertise to create functional flow, while Denese will capture the client’s style with custom finishes.”

On HGTV, the first season of Fix My Frankenhouse Season 1 will air on Sunday, April 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Meanwhile, Mike Butler argues that many owners can improve a home over time, eventually turning it into a “frank home”. Denise noted that after the couple completes the new space layout, they will use coherent contemporary design to bring “flow” back into the house.
