During this period he was a player of Barry and even the club captain, including 19 times this season.
A spokesman Barry Town again confirmed the club’s obligations according to their family values because they denied the knowledge of the case before the day of the sentence.
A spokesman said Wales Online: “Because we are brutally honest, we only heard about it the day he was convicted. He never told us.
“We were not aware of half an hour after the sentence of March 19 when we were contacted by a family member.
“Ever since we measured the penalties, we heard bits about the case, but we don’t have all the information. We processed the news. It’s a real shock.
“Evan is a wonderful young man. He was part of our club for seven years. He was wrong and it is my understanding that it happened some time ago.
“We are a family club that wants our players to be a role model. This was our news.”
Press, 24, has played for Barry Town since 2018 and has scored 187 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals.
