Fran Drescher, 67, Wears Bold Bustier Gown to 2025 Golden Globes and It Was Totally Giving The Nanny

The flashy girl from Flushings has done it again!

Fran Drescher stunned in head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday, January 5.

Nanny star and co-creator wore an elegant floor-length black dress with a heart-shaped bust, completing the look with black open-toed heels and a matching scarf. Drescher, 67, tied it all together with a classic updo, sparkling D&G dangle earrings and bold red lips and nails.

Drescher attended the event with her Nanny co-creator and ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, 67, shared a snap of the couple on Instagram as they headed to the star-studded affair.

Drescher has long been recognized as a style icon, bringing her signature glamor to the sitcom character Fran Fine Nanny, which aired on CBS from 1993-1999.

Although many of her outfits were considered unconventional at the time, there has since been a resurgence and appreciation for her look, spawning numerous articles, fan accounts and even an entire exhibition in France.

In 2021, Drescher, a vocal advocate for workers’ rights, was elected president of SAG-AFTRA — the industry’s largest union of actors and talent. She was re-elected in 2023, leading the union through a tumultuous actors’ strike that same year.

“This is a very big deal and it has weighed heavily on us,” Descher said in a speech to studio executives. “At some point you have to say no, we won’t take it anymore. The request is over … We demand respect. You share the wealth, because you cannot exist without us.”

Drescher is currently set to appear in a table tennis movie directed by Josh Safdie Marty Supreme, in which she will play the mother of Timothée Chalamet. The film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Tyler, The Creator.
