Frank Sinatra’s daughter gave a thumbs up to Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg to use the late jazz singer’s likeness in their new Still GIN ad.
Tina Sinatra, 76, said in an exclusive quote to PEOPLE that seeing an AI replica of her father hanging out with the two rappers in the time-altering ad was “exciting and surreal.”
“To see Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg alongside their father and Sammy Davis Jr. in such a groundbreaking way is both exciting and surreal,” she said. “It’s a celebration of timeless art, the breaking down of barriers and the lasting legacy of collaboration across generations.”

The new ad dropped on Tuesday, December 10, and features Dre, 59, and Snoop, 53, interacting with AI versions of Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. Sinatra died in 1998, while Davis Jr. died in 1990
In it, the late musicians are chatting in formal wear in a stylish bar when they spot Dre and Snoop walking through the packed venue. After seeing other bar patrons fawn over the two rappers, the “Fly Me to the Moon” singer asks, “Who the hell are these guys?”

In response, Davis. Jr. he says, “I heard they’re the new gangsters in town.”
Intrigued, Sinatra asks his bartender to introduce them to the newcomers, after which they decide to have a drink together. “So what’s your pleasure? What do you drink?” asks Davis Jr., after which Snoop and Dre name their brand of gin.
“Okay. Still GIN for all!” Sinatra says to the cheering crowd.

According to a press release obtained by PEOPLE, the production team worked closely with the Sinatra and Davis estates to ensure a faithful representation of the late stars.
Sinatra had three children with his first wife Nancy Barbato Sinatra: Nancy, Frank Jr. and Tina.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in 2015, Tina said her father “loved life.”

Still GIN — which launched in February and is co-owned by Dre and Snoop — joined forces with its creative agency Rosewood Creative, acclaimed director Dave Meyers and generative AI company Metaphysic to create the ad.
A statement said the ad captures the “balance of classic and modern” that defines the gin brand and “cinematically bridges past, present and future generations of superstars.”
The ad is broadcast during Vote season finale, which also marks the end of Snoop’s first season as a coach on the show.
