Even more Frozen it’s on its way!
Nine months after the announcement of the imminent third Frozen of the film, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that a fourth installment of the popular animated musical franchise will also be released.
In a speech from Hong Kong Disneyland divided into Good morning America On Thursday when the park opened its new “World of Frozen” area, Iger teased Michael Strahan: “I’m going to give you a little surprise Michael: Frozen 3 is in the works there as well power to be a Frozen 4 also in the works.”
Details are being kept under wraps for now, though, as the 72-year-old director noted, “I don’t have much to say about those movies right now.”
“But Jenn Lee, who created Frozen – Original Frozen and Frozen 2 — is working hard with his team at Disney Animation on not one, but actually two stories,” Iger added.

What was rumored and wished for a long time Frozen 3 was officially confirmed by Iger in February during a call with investors, where he also announced sequels to the film Toy story and Zootopia franchise.
frozenThe cast has openly said they want another sequel. In June 2022, Kristen Bell, who voices Anna, joked The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon“I would like to officially announce, without authority, Frozen 3.”
As the audience responded with a standing ovation, Bell, 43, clarified: “Please note that I said ‘without authority’, ’cause I can’t [actually announce it]. I can’t do it – I’m not in charge. But something could be done and something could happen, maybe.”
– I will remain mysterious – she added. “But I know Idina [Menzel] she recently said she would, and I feel like if we’re all for it, what are we waiting for?”

AND FrozenThe Oscar-winning songwriters are ready for a third installment in the franchise — even if they say they were as surprised as everyone else that there would be another movie.
“They told us the day and a little bit about what they were thinking,” Kristen Anderson-Lopez told Collider in March of how she and her songwriting partner and husband Robert Lopez heard the news. “We were very excited by that. Now we have to let the wheels of Hollywood do what they do, but we were very excited by their ideas.”
Last month, franchise co-creator, co-director and screenwriter Lee, 52, revealed at the BFI London Film Festival, per Diversitythat she is “delighted” and “so excited” by what she has seen so far in the third film, which will come after 2013. Frozen and in 2019 Frozen 2.
“I don’t know what I’m doing on it yet — I’m not doing anything — except what I’m doing now, which is that we work on every project as a team and I’m creative,” she explained, according to the publication. “But with Frozenjust a little more.”
The director also opened up about her “philosophy” when it comes to movies, specifically the popular franchise. “If there’s still a story to tell, the filmmakers have to get it going,” Lee said. “And I will say s FrozenMarc Smith, who was our story director Frozen 2she came up with an amazing idea for more Frozenand it’s worth it.”
