In the 2nd season Night agentno one can be trusted.
Ahead of the political action thriller’s return with new episodes in January, Netflix dropped an extended preview of what’s next for FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) following his efforts to save the president in the first season.
According to the streamer, the young agent is the newest member of the secretive organization, Night Action, which will “push Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply.”

As teased in the trailer — which debuted on Christmas Day as part of Netflix’s NFL game-day coverage — Peter is fighting for his life in Thailand after reportedly going AWOL following his investigation into the CIA leak.
“If Peter’s hiding, he’s probably got a good reason,” says an unseen voice, prompting a worldwide manhunt for the rogue agent as the action shifts from Asia back to the United States, where “a mole sells leaked American intelligence to the highest bidder.”
While trying to figure out who’s putting the nation in danger, Peter also learns the ropes of Night Ops—and finds new women in his life, including Amanda Warren as Catherine, the head of the Night Agent recruitment program, and Brittany Snow as Alice, Peter’s superior in Thailand.

“You’re a night agent now, relationships are dangerous,” Alice tells Peter at one point when he realizes it’s all up to him to save the day.
“I’m doing this alone,” he says before Catherine pulls a gun on him.
With all the twists and turns in the trailer, it’s no wonder there’s so much hype for season two, which also welcomes series newcomers Bert Colon as Solomon, Louis Herthum as Jacob, and Teddy Sears as Warren.
