Gary Busey Was Arrested In New Jersey For Multiple Sex Crimes Charges

The Cherry Hill Police Department in New Jersey announced on Saturday, August 20, that Gary Busey, the actor from the series Point Break, was arrested on charges of several sex crimes. According to a police statement, these events took place during the annual Monster Mania convention, which was held at the Doubletree Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

The report also states that between August 12 and 14, Cherry Hill police responded to complaints of alleged sexual abuse. Busey was taken into custody by investigators on August 19 after a preliminary investigation. Busey, 78, was said to be attending the Monster Mania Convention. The nature of the sexual crimes has not yet been revealed.

Gary Busey could face up to thirty days in county jail and fines if charged with one count of harassment. He could face a restraining order as well as additional sanctions. There is also a risk that this charge could be upgraded to “simple assault” status after further investigation, which could result in higher jail terms and fines.
