Gary Carr (born 11 December 1986) is an English actor, dancer, singer and musician who has worked in both film and theatre. He starred in the BBC television series Death in Paradise and the American television series The Deuce. He is particularly known for his role as American jazz musician Jack Ross in the ITV drama Downton Abbey.

Gary Carr was born on December 11, 1986 in London, England, United Kingdom under the sign of Sagittarius. Furthermore, he has an older brother, Daniel Carr, who is a professional soccer player. Growing up in London, Carr had an interest in performing and joined the National Youth Music Theatre, where he acted in a play called For Walls.
