Gautam Kitchlu was born on August 16 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He attended Cathedral & John Connon School in Mumbai and later pursued his BA from Tufts University in Massachusetts (1998-2002). Thereafter, he pursued a Textile Development and Marketing course at the Fashion Institute of Technology (2004-2005). In 2011, he completed his MBA in Finance from INSEAD.
