Geeta Bharat Jain is an Indian political leader. She served as the Mayor of Mira Bhajandar Municipal Corporation, Mumbai from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, she began supporting the Shiv Sena-led government and became a member of the Shiv Sena. She is an independent member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Mira Bhayandar constituency. On June 22, 2022, Geeta Bharat Jain joined the Bhartiya Janta Party amid the growing conflict within the Shiv Sena.

In 2002, Geeta Bharat Jain was elected as the corporator of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation for the first time. During the campaign, she mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name to gain support. Later, Geeta Bharat Jain joined the Shiv Sena, but she left in June 2022 due to differences within the party. At that time, the BJP and the Eknath Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena were jointly forming the government, so she decided to return to the BJP.

Geeta Bharat Jain hits headlines June 22, 2023 Two junior engineers lodge a complaint with Mumbai Police alleging harassment by Geeta Bharat Jain them, and slapped one of them while he was on duty. Engineers of the Mira Bhajandar Municipal Corporation sought a complaint against Jain. Shortly after the incident, a video was shared on social media. Later, Jain told the media that she did not regret taking the action even though she believed the municipal corporation was carrying out illegal demolitions. The next day, the engineers decided to drop the charges and asked the police to withdraw the complaint against Jain.
