What makes this area stand out is how much of this hidden area lies deep underground. Those looking to make the most of this new area will need to complete various worlds and side quests. One of the quests requires the player to complete a Watatsumi Puzzle.
To unlock access to Watatsumi Puzzle Genshin Shock, the player must first visit an NPC named Kumi, who can be found at the western end of Watatsumi Island. She will ask the player to bring her three cherry blossoms. They are scattered all over the island. Players need to use Shock to claim them.
After bringing his Cherry Blossoms, Kumi will ask the player to examine a researcher at the western end of the island. There will be a Hilichurl camp for players to get through. Later, when the player talks to the researcher, it will be mentioned that there is a treasure in the area. This is how players can start the Watatsumi puzzle. To complete this puzzle, the player will need at least one Hydro character and one Electro character.
Complete the Watatsumi puzzle in Genshin Impact
The player needs to unlock three different elemental totems. Two of them are electric and the last one requires hydroelectricity. The player will notice a Thunder Totem covered with a Lightning Barrier. To unlock it, they need to find an Electrogranum factory behind the nearby Hilichurl Hut. After activating the plants, they can return to the fence to deactivate them. They should then have no trouble activating all three elemental totems. This will solve the next part of the puzzle.
In the second part of Watatsumi Puzzle, players need to successfully navigate to the illuminated platforms and illuminate every tile along the way, but they cannot step on the same tile twice. If they do, the puzzle will reset. The first part of this puzzle is not too difficult. The player should step onto the illuminated header first and then simply follow the path leading to the statue. They need to interact with the statue to reveal the next tile.
The second time, the player will need to walk around the statue to make sure that all the pedestals are lit. This will reveal the final and most complex set. For this part, players should stick to the edge of the title to light them all up before reaching the last statue. Completing this puzzle will receive an exquisite chest.
