- Step 3: From here you will get two options to log in to Discord:
A. Sign in to Discord with your email or phone number
- On the left side of the login screen, you’ll see a form where you need to enter the email address or phone number you used to create your Discord account, followed by your Discord password; finally click ‘Login’.
B. Log in to Discord with the QR code
- On the right side of the login screen, you will see a QR code (similar to the one in the image below) that you need to scan using the pre-installed Discord app on your mobile device to log in instantly; will not require you to enter a username, email address, or phone number to log into your Discord account.
On your PC or laptop via the desktop web app
To quickly access your Discord account, you can install its web app on your computer to stay logged in and avoid the hassle of visiting a website every time you want to log into Discord.
- Step 1: Go ahead and visit the app download link on discord.com
- Step 2: At the top of the page, you will see a download button for Windows. Click ‘Download for Windows’ to start the process; make sure you are using Windows 7 or later.
- Step 3 – In case you are using Linux or Mac, scroll down and it will be sorted. Click on the corresponding download buttons to download the Discord app for Linux or Mac.
- Step 4: For example, to download Discord for Windows, press the corresponding key, wait for the file to download completely; then run the .exe file to install the Discord app on your Windows PC or laptop.
Wait! Let the installation complete.
- Step 5: You will now see ‘Welcome back!’ screen where you will again get two options to login to Discord-
A. Sign in to Discord with your email or phone number
- Enter the email address or phone number you used to create your Discord account followed by your Discord password; finally click ‘Login’.
B. Log in to Discord with the QR code
- Scan the QR code using the pre-installed Discord app on your mobile device to log in instantly; will not require you to enter a username, email address, or phone number to log into your Discord account.
On an Android device via the Discord mobile app
For the absolute convenience of smartphone users, Discord has its own mobile app; see the steps to login to Discord through the app:
- Step 1: Open the Google Play Store and search for the Discord app, hit the ‘Install’ button to download it.
- Step 2: After downloading, launch the app and tap ‘Login’.
- Step 3: Enter your email or phone number associated with your Discord account and password in the appropriate fields; tap ‘Sign in’.
- Step 4 – If prompted, tap ‘confirm’ to continue.
- Step 5: After verification, you will see the Discord dashboard.

- Step 1: Go to the Apple Store and search for the ‘Discord’ app.
- Step 2 – Tap on ‘Get’ to install the Discord app.
- Step 3: Once the app is fully installed, launch it and tap ‘Sign In’.
- Step 4: Enter your email or phone number associated with your Discord account and password in the appropriate fields; tap ‘Sign in’.
- Step 5: After verification, you will see the Discord dashboard. That is all you need to do to log into your Discord account on your iOS device.
