Srinu Boddupalli, known by his stage name Getup Srinu, is an Indian film actor, stand-up comedian and television host who works primarily in the Telugu entertainment industry. He earned the nickname “Getup” for his many costumed appearances in Telugu TV’s comedy show “Jabardasth” and its extended version “Extra Jabardasth”. In the show, he imitated Telugu film actors from Sudigali Sudheer’s team. He is also known for hosting the ETV Plus show Cinema Chupista Mama. Apart from his television career, he has also starred in several Telugu films such as Rangasthalam (2018), Zombie Reddy (2021), and Waltair Veerayya (2023).

Srinu Boddupalli was born on Wednesday, December 12, 1984 (age 38 years; as of 2023) in Chinamillipadu village, Akividu Mandal, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. His parents came from a humble background and came to Kalingagudem as migrant workers from Skakulam in Andhra Pradesh. Srinu grew up on a small farm next to the village’s crop canal. He studied at Siddapuram High School till class 10th. He completed his internship at Dumpagadapa Government College. When he grew up, he would go to work with his parents and imitate his coworkers for fun, making everyone laugh. He moved to Hyderabad in search of better opportunities.

Srinu Boddupalli came into limelight in 2013 with the Telugu comedy show Jabardasth. Later, he also appeared in Extra Jabardasth, an extended version of Jabardasth. He earned nicknames such as “Jabardast Srinu” and “Getup Srinu” for his various costumes while performing comedy sketches on the show. He is also known as “Bulli tera Kamal Haasan” (small screen Kamal Haasan).
In 2020, he appeared as a celebrity guest on the show Celebrity Challenge along with Jabardast Ram Prasad and Sudigali Sudheer.

Thereafter, he played various supporting roles such as Shankar’s friend in iSmart Shankar (2019), Manikyam in Nani’s Gang Leader (2019) and an assistant beggar in Bhagyanagara Veedullo Gamattu (2019). In 2020, he played the protagonist Phani, an aspiring film director, in the comedy film “Three Monkeys.”
