Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner Ride Horses Through the Streets of Paris for Vogue World — Watch!

Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner made their mark on Vogue World: Paris.

June 23 Vogue staged its annual fashion show in the City of Light and brought the biggest names in fashion to help kick off the celebrations on Place Vendôme.

For this event, Vogue World celebrated the intersection of fashion (especially French fashion designers and houses) and sports by honoring a different sport in each decade. During the 1950s, horse riding was celebrated, so of course Jenner and Hadid rode their horses through the square.

Dressed head to toe in Hermès – or rather head to horseshoe – the models rode side by side on their horses, which were named Django and Napo. The horses were draped in colorful Hermès scarves and galloped around the square in front of the guests. Although the supermodels tried to keep their usual cool demeanor, Hadid couldn’t help but smile a few times at Jenner and the horses.

The two later returned at the end of the event – minus their horses – along with all the models. Hadid wore a gold and blue look with a structured bodice and flowy skirt, while Jenner wore a neutral-toned sheer flowy dress.

Not much was revealed before Hadid’s appearance, aside from the trailer art that was shared Vogue‘s Instagram on May 28. In the cinematic clip, Hadid struts her stuff in a room full of gymnasts in leotards. She ditches her gold raincoat to reveal a sassy sporty look underneath and strikes fierce poses as instructed by Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing.

The pair have been teased as two of the “biggest names in the industry” celebrating 100 years of “French fashion and athletics”. Jenner was previously teased as one of the models at the event.

Vogue World: Paris, a livestream event hosted by Cara Delevingne, serves as a “collaboration with youth sports academies from across France” and will showcase decades of fashion dating back to the 1920s combined with cycling, gymnastics, tennis, fencing, breaking and a variety of others of sports, according to Vogue.

Contemporary and historical French designers and fashion houses that traditionally present their collections in Paris participated in the fashion show. There were over 500 athletes, performers, surprise guests and models.

This year’s event marks the third in the Vogue World series since the publication’s first show at New York Fashion Week in 2022. Hadid walked solo and with her sister Bella Hadid, 27, Serena Williams and Lil Nas X. All wore metallic silver looks.

Last year’s Vogue World: London was described by Anna Wintour, VogueGlobal Editorial Director and Condé Nast Chief Content Officer as a “glamorous night at the movies” with a then-pregnant nude Sienna Miller and a super gathering of Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell.
