Gongadi Trisha is an Indian cricketer who mainly plays as a batsman for the U-19 Indian women’s cricket team. Trisha is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg bowler who was part of the Indian team that won the 2023 Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup.

Trisha Reddy, also known as Gongadi V Trisha, was born on Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Bhadrachalam, Telangana (17 years old; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. When Trisha was born, her father had been a hockey player, and as she grew older, her mother asked her to show Trisha cricket matches on TV instead of cartoons. She started playing cricket from the age of two-and-a-half when her father started training her with plastic balls and bats. When Teresa was 5 years old, her father started taking her to the gym with him, where he would throw more than 300 pitches to her. After some time, Trisha’s father installed a cement court at a local ground in Bhadrachalam and Trisha practiced there for a long time under her father’s guidance. Since there was no cricket academy in her hometown, her father decided to move from Bhadrachalam to Secunderabad to provide Trisha with adequate training and development facilities; Trisha’s father gave up his job to earn less than half The gym was sold to a relative for a price and moved to Secunderabad. Once, when Trisha was practicing her batting in Secunderabad, her father recorded a video of her and showed it to John Manoj, the coach of St. John’s Cricket Academy in Hyderabad, and Sri Nivas. Impressed with her performance, coach John Manoj invited Trisha to join St. John’s Cricket Academy, where she trained under coach Srinivasan. To support her training, her father sold four acres of his farmland in Bhadrachalam, Telangana. Later, she trained at the academy of former India coach Sridhar. As of 2023, she is pursuing her 12th grade.

Gongadi Trisha’s father GV Ramireddy is a former hockey player who played for the state in his youth. Ramireddy also worked as an ITC gym instructor. He ran his own gym for a while, then sold it to relatives to support Teresa’s training. Trisha’s mother’s name is Madhavi. She is the only child of her parents.

Gongadi Trisha was selected for the Hyderabad U16 women’s team at the age of eight, becoming the youngest player in the team. Trisha was the South District leading run scorer at the U16 level two years in a row. At the age of 12, Trisha started batting for the Hyderabad U19 team (as a batsman) and the Hyderabad U23 team (as a bowler). Her first U19 match was against Tamil Nadu where she scored 38 runs and took 4 wickets.
