Good Morning Britain viewers baffled as naked woman appears on show

Viewers of Good Morning Britain were slightly perplexed to see a naked woman appear on Tuesday’s show.

Nudist Helen Berriman joined hosts Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins on the show to debate whether nude sunbathing should be banned and appearing nude on the panel. Watch the video below to see a clip from the segment.

Helen, a member of the Naturist Foundation, argues that people can sunbathe naked in public, while branding and culture expert Nick Ede says it’s a “selfish” thing to do.

“With all the things going on in the world right now, do we mind a naked body sunbathing in a quiet corner of the park?” Helen asked. “There’s still a lot going on that we can take care of.”

Nick disagreed, arguing that some members of the public might be offended by nudity. “I have a problem with that because I think it’s a very selfish thing,” he said. “It’s about you and your empowerment and I totally understand body positivity, which I think is amazing. But you don’t take into account other people in that environment who can be a little overstimulating. move or find it offensive.”

Although there is no law against public nudity, the City of London Corporation has recently received dozens of complaints about nude sunbathing.

Viewers were quick to react to Helena’s nude photo on Twitter, with one calling it “unnecessary”.

Another fan tweeted: “Why is a naked woman blurred on ITV’s #GMB right now? A bit dramatic,” while another added: “Why would anyone be naked? Are you all crazy?”

A fourth viewer wrote: “It’s so funny you let Helen sit there naked,” while another added: “Oh stop, do they really need to let her completely freeze to prove it? prove their point?”

However, other viewers joined the debate, with one person tweeting: “There’s a reason nudist camps exist. You shouldn’t be nude in your everyday life,” while another said. Another offered a solution: “They should have areas where people can sunbathe naked, that way both sides of the coin are comfortable and safe.”
