Goparaju Ramana is an Indian actor and director. He gained popularity for his role in the Telugu film Bourgeoisie Melody (2020), in which he played the role of Kondalrao.

In 1967, he joined the theatre troupe “Balanadam” and made his debut in the play “Manavuni Adugujadallo” written by Avula Sambasiva Rao. He acted in more than 1500 plays like “Sakkubai”, “Strike” and “Polish Bhayya”. Later, he acted in various programmes of All India Radio.

He has acted in many commercial dramas with his friends. He has acted in many historical and mythological dramas like Anubandhalu, Raktajwala, Norumuyi, Charitraku Chamatalu Padutunnayi and Nerasthudevaru. Later, he acted in Telugu television serials Padmavyuham (2013), Samgharshana (2016), Mahalakshmi (2017) and Vidhi (2018). Some of his Teulgu films include Asta Chemm (2008), Sundaraniki Tondarekkuva (2010), Betting Bangarraju (2010) and Okasari (2016). He has also directed several Tamil films including Amaran (1992), Madhana Manmadhana (2012) and Bheeman Asthinapuram (2012). In 2020, he came into the limelight with the Telugu film Middle Class Melody (2020), in which he played the role of Anand Devarakonda.

It was a wonderful experience to act in the play Nagamandala. The play was originally written by Girish Karnad and composed in Telugu by Dr DSN Murthy. I was given a typical role with two different voices. The performance was appreciated by connoisseurs as well as the public including the media of the day. Similarly, Dr Murthy also chose me to act in another play Agni varsha which was also composed by Girish Karnad. I will always be grateful to Dr DSN Murthy for his support in performing these two plays. “
