Gordon Ramsay's Daughter Holly and Adam Peaty Announce Engagement: 'Marrying My Best Friend'

Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty are engaged!

On Thursday. On September 12, the celebrity chef, 57, confirmed the exciting news on Instagram, writing that he was “so happy” for the couple as he shared more sweet pictures.

Among the carousel of photos, Gordon hugged his daughter from behind as the pair smiled for the camera in one picture, while another showed Holly proudly posing with her oval-shaped yellow diamond ring from Pragnell Jewellery, which Adam confirmed on his Instagram Stories.

Another snap showed Holly holding on to her husband-to-be’s head while wearing a white bikini top as the pair took a selfie.

“Congratulations to this beautiful girl @hollyramsayy … so happy for you and @adam_peaty ! Hols, watching you grow into the woman you are today with your kindness and love is absolutely infectious … Adam is a very lucky man! Welcome to the family ❤️ ,” Gordon wrote in to its title.

He jokingly added, “One less, two more 😂,” referring to his other two daughters; Megan, 26, and Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay, 22. Gordon and wife Tana, 50, also share sons Jack, 24, Oscar, 5, and Jesse James, 9 months.

Holly — who became Instagram official with Team GB swimmer Adam on July 10, 2023 — also shared more snaps on the social network from the special moment, including two pictures posted by Gordon. Additional footage showed her holding the ring as Adam lovingly held her hand.

“Marrying my best friend. I really can’t put into words how I feel right now. I still remember how big my smile was that morning when I came home from my first date with you,” she captioned the post.

“Thank you for making the little girl in me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you and can’t wait to be your wife 🤍,” added Holly.

“I promise I’ll always be there for you and George, that’s how I am.” [grateful] to be in his life and I can’t wait any longer,” Holly announced, referring to Adam’s 4-year-old son George, who he shares with ex Eirianedd Munro.

“Everything is better with you. Everything is better from you. Here’s to forever. 💍🫶🏻✨🪩💗🧁,” Holly concluded and added a Bible verse.

Adam posted the same pictures on Instagram, as well as another showing Holly’s hand resting on his, and one focusing on her ring as she held it up to the camera.

Calling himself “the luckiest man in the world to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman” by his side, the athlete added in his description: “You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.”

Adam added, “Your family has always treated me so generously with their time, emotions and trust. And I can’t wait to join them. I’ve always believed that when two people are engaged and later married, we are no longer two people, but we are coming together as one and it is our greatest privilege to share that with you.”

“Seeing how you show the love you give to the most important person in my life, George, even from day one, it was never in doubt that you would one day become my wife. I look forward to our life together and the many challenges we will face. I promise that I will always to love with all the heart,” he concluded, before ending with a reference to a Bible verse.
