Gracie Abrams Says Returning to Eras Tour as the Opening Act ‘Feels Like Coming Home’: ‘I Love You, Taylor Swift’

For Gracie Abrams, the Eras Tour feels like home.

The “Close To You” singer (25) is back on tour with Taylor Swift, and she celebrated by sharing a sweet message on Instagram.

After taking the stage at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 19 — the second show of their three-date Miami stint — Abrams shared a photo of herself and wrote, “I’ll never forget how this felt.”

“Thank you 2nd night from the bottom of my heart,” she continued. “I’m writing a whole love letter to Miami right now… Being back on this tour is like coming home. I love you @taylorswift.”

Abrams is opening the rest of Swift’s tour, which ends in December. After finishing in Miami, the pair will head to New Orleans, Indianapolis and later Canada to close out the tour, which began in March 2023.

The JJ Abrams daughter has also joined the “Karma” singer on some of her previous international tours, even sharing the stage to debut their “Us” collaboration.

In September, Abrams opened up about the debut’s “out of body” experience The secret of us catch Swift live at London’s Wembley Stadium this summer.

“We wrote it as we played it at Wembley,” she told Who What Wear. “To see someone have the ability, in a stadium, to make you feel like you and her are the only people there, that was really important for me to see.”

She also reflected on how the Eras Tour inspired her latest album, telling the paper: “I’m so fucking happy that we can do [The Secret of Us] on Eras only because so much of the album was undeniably inspired by the kind of energy that radiates from both Taylor herself and her fans, [who] they are just so dedicated and passionate.”

Abrams also revealed that performing for the Eras Tour crowd “rewired a huge part of my brain,” which helped her overcome stage fright.

“Not just in terms of performance and stage fright and that kind of s— but in my life,” she continued. “I told myself I knew I would hate performing. I knew I would be uncomfortable every second I was on stage, and in the end I didn’t feel that way at all.”

In January, Abrams said the experience opening for Swift was “beyond my wildest dreams.”

“Being a part of that tour in a small way changed the course of my life in so many ways,” she told PEOPLE, calling Swift “an amazing performer and the most generous friend.”

“I haven’t forgotten that her faith in me really… did a lot,” she added at the time. “So I’m deeply grateful to her, forever.”
