A heartwarming video shows a giant hound showing love to a rescued 4-week-old kitten while it was being bathed.
The tiny kitten was rescued by 36-year-old veterinarian Stephanie Vice, and while he was bathing in the tub, the cute dog came up to him and gently placed his paw on the kitten’s head. The beautiful moment was captured by the camera and warmed millions of hearts online!
Stephanie and her husband Matthew love animals so much that they never miss an opportunity to help an animal in need, as was the case with this kitten.
To date, the couple has adopted more than 100 rescue cats, so their lovely pet dog Ruby Jane has become extremely close and gentle with the small cats. However, she has never been as gentle as this time!
While Stephanie was bathing the tiny rescue kitten in the kitchen sink, the 5-year-old came in to give the cute creature Bodie some comfort in her first bath. What a gentle giant she is!
Stephanie said: “Ruby Jane is a very playful dog and gets along very well with all raised kittens. “She’s been especially fond of Bodie since we brought him home.”

Like the 107 kittens Stephanie and her husband have adopted over the years, Ruby Jane is a rescue too! “These three kittens make up the 107 rescue animals I’ve adopted over the past five years,” the woman said. “She was also a lifesaver, a friend who brought her to me as I was mourning the loss of my former Bloodhound.”
