Greenstone Aloysius Lobo studied for a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Bombay, Maharashtra, India, from 1992 to 1994. From 2008 to 2009, he pursued an MBA in Human Resources at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (formerly known as Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technical Sciences). In March 2021, he returned to the VES (Vivekanand Education Society) School of Management, University of Mumbai as an organizational leadership research scholar.

Greenstone Lobo has been an astrologer since 2005. He studied both Indian and Western systems of astrology and found many limitations that left him unsatisfied. He continued to develop systems for predicting and interpreting birth charts based on scientific principles. He also conducts research and scientifically supports the validity of astrology. Greenstone makes predictions about major life events and says on his website that he has made more than 50,000 horoscopes, including those of many celebrities. He also worked as a scientific astrologer in a film by producer Suraj Singh.

Greenstone says he does not rely on traditional mystical or psychic elements, but instead bases his predictions on extensive research and astrological analysis. He also works to debunk myths and provide “logical alternatives” to beliefs, rituals, and astrological phenomena. He provides counseling and astrological readings on all aspects of life, including career, relationships, finances and death. He states on his website that when he first started studying astrology, he was a non-believer and only changed his mind after he adopted scientific methods to help him gather evidence that purportedly proves astrology works. Greenstone also offers matchmaking counselling, muhurat (a measure of time used by astrologers to find “auspicious times”), and pre-/post-marital counselling. Greenstone is a guest astrologer at Illuminations Well Being Centre, Dubai’s largest wellness centre.

Most of his predictions revolve around sports, especially cricket. Greenstone accurately predicted the winners of three consecutive Cricket World Cups in 2011, 2015 and 2019, correctly predicting victory for India, Australia and England. In addition to winners, Greenstone also predicted player performance. He also predicted the outcome of the 2009, 2014 and 2019 Indian general elections. In 2021, Greenstone predicts Johnny Depp’s legal issues will work in his favor. Greenstone later posted on Instagram that the legal issue at issue was the trial between Depp and Amber Heard, which is set to begin in 2022.

In addition to his predictions, Greenstone is the CEO and founder of 16 Planets Scientific Astrology, where he teaches online and offline astrology courses. He mentored more than a thousand students, and some of his students became astrologers. He also conducts online and offline workshops.
