“Grown & Gospel” Is Set To Premiere On We TV

Grown & Gospel premieres this Thursday, March 16 at 9 p.m. ET on We TV. The six-episode series will air on Thursday and will be available to watch on AMC’s streaming service, ALLBLK, on ​​Monday. Six “vocational childhood friends” will feature in the series as they seek their own success in the Detroit church scene, away from the influence of their famous parents. The new series will also feature many fights between the team members, as well as some heartbreaking moments.

1) Breeann “Bree” Hammond

Breeann Hammond is the daughter of gospel legend Fred Hammond. She left the Christian business for a while and came back with a now or never mindset. He plans to reunite with his friends and become more involved in the music community.

2) John Brooks

J. Brooks is the son of the co-founder of the “Commissioned” worship group, Pastor Michael Brooks. He got his first church job at the age of 14 and has been a singer-songwriter ever since. He believes that “music makes a genre, not the other way around”. Brooks was Bree’s first contact when she returned to Detroit and he was able to help reunite her with the group.
