Guns N’ Roses Drummer Frank Ferrer Files For Divorce from Wife Magdalena Malicka

Guns N’ Roses drummer Frank Ferrer has filed for divorce from wife Magdalena Malick after 16 months of marriage.

According to court documents filed Nov. 20 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County and obtained by PEOPLE, the musician cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

The documents show that the two were married on May 16, 2022 and separated on September 30, 2023. The two had no children together.

While the former couple have been relatively tight-lipped about their romance, the singer’s first Instagram post was a tribute to Malick in honor of their first wedding anniversary.

“Happy Anniversary Kotek!! One year and many more to come! Kocham Cie!! @_magdalenaferrer_,” he wrote.

The post included multiple photos of Malick in a cream suit and Ferrer in a blue tuxedo. The two shared a sweet kiss in one shot and proudly showed off their rings in another.

A month later, he shared a selfie of the two with the caption, “Ferrera couple…❤️😍❤️@_magdalenaferrer_.”

Ferrer also updated his followers with more photos from their vacation, which included a trip to Madrid, Spain, in June and a trip to Rome, Italy, in July.

In August, he shared a black-and-white mirror selfie taken by Malick with the caption “NYC Fun.” Although not seen in the video, he last mentioned Malick in a post on September 16, where she took the photo.

Earlier this month, Ferrer and his bandmates performed the final concert of their multi-city tour that began in June. It was the band’s first time on the road in North America since 2021.

In an interview with KKDM 2020, Ferrer reflected on his beginnings with the group.

“I had to really work hard to make sure I could represent [Steven] Adler’s Sense, Matt Sorum’s Sense and [Bryan ‘Brain’ Mantia’s] feeling for Chinese democracy [era]” he said. “So that was the hardest challenge – to find all three eras of Guns N’ Roses and bring them together in one cohesive way of playing their material.”
