Dua Lipa is more than “just a girl” to Gwen Stefani.
The No Doubt frontwoman, 54, praised the “Houdini” singer, 29, in a new Instagram post featuring photos of the pair hanging out together at the 2024 iHeart Radio Festival, where they both performed sets on Friday, September 20.
In a post shared by Stefani on Saturday, September 21, the two musicians could be seen posing together in monochrome outfits. In two of the three frames, they beamed at the camera, while in the third, Lipa blew a kiss to the camera.
Stefani wore a fringed white mini dress with matching white thigh high boots and gave a fuzzy white shrug. She completed the look with an elegant ponytail, pearl and cross necklaces, silver rings and silver threads.

As for Lipa, she rocked a black top with a silver bralette and a matching black zip-up skirt. She styled her hair in soft curls, and in the videos she wore minimal jewelry.
“Got to hang out with the most beautiful girl in the world last night duo hunting ♡,” Stefani captioned the photos.

The two singers have already met and even appeared together in a 2020 episode of the series Jimmy Kimmel Live! when the “One Kiss” singer was a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s show. During the show, she mistakenly referred to Blake Shelton as Stefani’s “husband.” However, the couple was not yet married at the time, as they got married a year later in 2021.
“I heard you quarantined with your husband Blake Shelton at a ranch in Oklahoma. Who else was with you? How was that?” Lipa asked Stefani, who then replied, “Um, well … he’s not my husband, but that sounded cool when you said it.”
Lipa replied quietly, “Oh,” before the pair laughed.

Stefani’s post comes as she returns Vote as a coach for the upcoming 26th season of the series, alongside Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé.
He is also preparing to release his fifth studio album, BouquetNovember 15, which will be her first new album in seven years. She debuted her single “Somebody Else’s” on Friday, September 22.
“I will never write anything that doesn’t just reflect what’s going on in my life,” Stefani told PEOPLE last year in a cover story.
“Before I wrote my first song, I was a dyslexic girl who didn’t know how I fit in. Then I said, ‘Oh, this is my magic power,'” she added at the time. “I’m so honored to be given the gift of being able to write music and I take it very seriously.”
