Blake Shelton may be gone Votebut his former fellow trainers are still talking about him – specifically his wife Gwen Stefani and singer Niall Horan.
The pair, who are currently on the NBC singing competition series, appeared on Tuesday’s episode Show Jennifer Hudson and talked about their admiration for Shelton, before Horan did his uncannily accurate impression of the country star’s Southern drawl.
During the segment, host Jennifer Hudson (who previously trained Vote) mentioned that she’s heard people say how Horan, 30, looks a bit like Shelton, 47. “He could be our son,” Stefani, 54, joked as they looked at a picture of the two musicians together.

Hudson, 42, claims she heard Horan could do an impression of Shelton’s voice, and although he wasn’t so confident in his own abilities, he gave it a try, saying a few lines the “God Gave Me You” singer would probably say.
“This is my wife, Gwen Stefani. I’d love to have you on my team,” Horan said in Shelton’s voice, pointing to the “Rich Girl” singer and pretending to be on Vote. “You know, my friend Jennifer here . . .”
