It’s probably no surprise that Paltrow calls most of her wellness routines slay, since she’s someone who has an entire brand dedicated to wellness. She loves lemon water, dry brushing, facial oils, cold immersion, saunas and more. She considers it all good for the mind, body and spirit.

“Lemon water is death,” she tells PEOPLE. “It’s very good for the body, good for rinsing, great to drink in the morning.”

She also calls medicinal mushrooms salty.

“I think psychedelics absolutely will be—and right now are—the next hottest area in mental health,” she says, adding that she’s seen some interesting research on it that she thinks could push the conversation forward even more. .

Paltrow’s only no-no is taping her face to prevent wrinkles. She says she’s just not interested in it because she doesn’t think it works.

“I remember my mother having these things called Frownies when I was little that she would stick a triangle on her forehead, but she didn’t really have a lot of wrinkles on her forehead, so maybe they work,” she muses.

As for gliding — coating the skin with Vaseline for hydration — Paltrow has no opinion.

“Shooting looks tacky, but if you’re into it, it can’t hurt,” she says, before calling herself Swiss.

Paltrow celebrated 15 years of Goop this year. It started in 2008 as a lifestyle site before branching out into wellness and beauty. She tells PEOPLE that at first people thought they were “crazy” for some of the ideas they had, but she’s proud to have stayed true to her values through it all.

Recently, her award-winning brand launched good.clean.goop at Target and Amazon, bringing the brand’s products to a wider audience with prices under $40.

Paltrow tells PEOPLE that the idea of creating Goop products at a lower price point is something she and her team have been working on for a long time.
