Gypsy Rose Blanchard goes all out celebrating her newfound freedom.
New photos posted on TikTok on Friday show the 32-year-old having fun at a “welcome home” party with her family after being released from prison earlier this week.
In the photos on TikTok, Gypsy had a big smile on her face as she posed in front of a “welcome home” sign made of gold balloons while wearing a beige and white sweater.
Additional photos on the carousel show Gypsy with her father, Rod Blanchard, and his wife, Kristy. Gypsy’s stepmother matched it, also in beige. Her half-sister Mia Blanchard could also be seen posing with her in photos wearing a white sweater.

Another TikTok video shared a glimpse of some of the festivities. Gypsy dropped a bottle of champagne in front of the large dining table as confetti rained down on her and her guests. Her husband Ryan could be seen opening a bottle next to her.
Earlier in the day, Gypsy took to Instagram to share her first photo since the announcement. In the photo, she wore a white and blue ombre sweater with her hair pulled into a side ponytail and her hand on her hip. The footage shows open suitcases full of clothes and toiletries.
“The first selfie of freedom!” she wrote the picture.

Several commenters below the post expressed their support, including Jennifer Turpin, who escaped parental abuse in 2018 along with her 12 siblings. “Phenomenal! Looks great!😁❤️❤️❤️,” Turpin wrote.
Gypsy served eight years in prison after pleading guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard. Her then-boyfriend, Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn, with whom she was scheming, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison
Dee Dee subjected Gypsy to unnecessary medical treatment and convinced her daughter and others that the now 32-year-old had a number of illnesses as a child. It was claimed in court that Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE before her release, Gypsy revealed that she would change her past if she could.
“If I had the chance to do it all over again, I don’t know if I would go back to the time when I was a child and tell my aunts and uncles that I’m not sick and that my mom is making me sick or I would travel Let’s just go back to the point of that conversation with Nick and say to him: ‘You know what, I’m going to tell everything to the police,’ Gypsy said.
However, she also clarified: “No one will ever hear me say that I’m glad she’s dead or that I’m proud of what I did. I regret that every day.”
