The Halloween Baking Championship: What to Expect

The contenders in this holiday-themed baking competition will battle to create unique, exciting sweets that will both shock and tickle the judges’ tastes. The bakers will compete for eight weeks while staying at the hotel. Each episode of the program will include two challenges in which these Halloween aficionados must make recipes based on certain themes. To impress the three judges, they will be needed to make a cake with faces during the first episode, Welcome to Hotel Henson, followed by a cake with blood spatters. The first episode’s summary read:

Similarly, in episode two, Croquem-boots, the competitors must transform croquembouche into croquem-boots and construct cat-sized desserts in celebration of Puss in Boots. Halloween Baking Championship will consist of six one-hour episodes and two two-hour supersized episodes.

The baker who survives the motel of horrors and elimination will get the $10,000 prize as well as a tour to America’s ten most haunted mansions. Marcus Brackett, Jill Davis, AJ DeDiego, Kristi Descher, Justin Dominguez, Lola Forbes, Margarita Garcia, Alexey Ivanov, Zac Mercer, Lauren Rogers, Maricsa Trejo, and Blayre Wright are the 12 candidates competing in this heart-stopping challenge.
