HAMAS terrorists massacred at least 40 babies and children in a sickening rampage in a town – with some found beheaded, Israel claims.
Israeli soldiers discovered scenes of unimaginable horror in Kfar Az – a village near the Gaza border that was seized by Hamas militants for two days.

The Israeli army has retaken control of the besieged village and its soldiers now face the arduous task of recovering the bodies of dozens of victims.
Armed with guns, grenades and knives, Hamas terrorists beheaded men, women, children and babies in their beds early Saturday morning after storming across the border.
Speaking from the scene of the bloodshed, i24News reporter Nicole Zedek said a soldier told her they found women and “babies with their heads cut off.”
At least 40 babies and children were slaughtered while entire families were burned alive in their homes and shot.
Israel has vowed to “wipe out” Hamas after it claimed young boys were allegedly burned alive, beheaded and shot in the head.
Israeli Economy Minister Nir Barkat told Sky News: “We have just heard about 40 boys, some of them were burned alive, some of them were beheaded, some of them were shot in the head.”
He also warned that civilians in Gaza should “step aside” as they prepare to strike back.
He said: “All the militants, all the infrastructure, the people who support Hamas. We will wipe them out.
“We are coming to kill militants and all civilians [should] budge.
“If you don’t step aside and give cover to Hamas militants, you are risking your life.
“We don’t want to hurt innocent people.”
Israel has also rejected requests to bring food and medical supplies into the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
Visibly shaken by the crimes, Nicole said: “Nobody could have expected it to be like this – the horrors I hear from these soldiers.
“At least about 40 babies were taken out on gurneys. They go from house to house and keep bringing out dead bodies.”
She said cots and prams were abandoned in the streets as terrified families fled the rampaging terrorists – who attacked the village every 20 minutes in “waves” for a harrowing 48 hours.
It comes as…
- During the night, Israel bombarded Gaza with more powerful airstrikes
- The IDF mobilized 300,000 reservists for a full ground invasion
- More than 3,000 are confirmed dead in Israel and Gaza, and thousands are injured
- Prime Minister Netanyahu called Hamas “worse than ISIS” and said Israel would crush them “with force like never before”
- The terrorists threatened to execute the hostages and broadcast gruesome videos
- Three British nationals have been confirmed dead, while another seven Britons are missing
Amid burnt houses, horrifying images show blood-soaked child seats as Hamas militants appear to have opened fire on vehicles indiscriminately.
Major General Itai Veruv described harrowing scenes of brutal violence – where entire families were killed in their homes.
He told reporters: “You see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their bedrooms, in their safe rooms, and the terrorists are killing them.
“It’s not a war. It’s not a battlefield. It’s a massacre.
“It’s something I’ve never seen in my life. It’s something we imagined from our grandparents in the pogroms in Europe and elsewhere.”
Journalists who were allowed to enter the village on Tuesday described the terrible “smell of death”.
Some Israeli soldiers appeared visibly shaken by the brutality as they found the streets littered with corpses after Hamas terrorists went door-to-door shooting entire families.
Graphic images showed families slaughtered in their bedrooms and living rooms – with the walls of their homes riddled with bullet holes.
The Telegram account opened by the Israeli first intervention teams reads: “Nothing was spared. It’s all systematic slaughter and destruction of everything that moves.”
Since the bodies of the victims are still being recovered from the decimated village, the total number of dead is unknown.
One soldier told ITV News: “It reminds me of the pogroms and the Nazis.”
More than 100 bodies were also found in Kibbutz Be’eri – also one of the first sites targeted by Hamas.
Volunteers in yellow vests and face masks carried the dead out of the houses on stretchers.
A trail of blood in the wounds on the floor of the house where the militants dragged the bodies out into the street from the blood-soaked kitchen strewn with overturned furniture.
US President Joe Biden said tonight that “Israel has the right and duty to respond to these attacks.”
He criticized the actions of Hamas as “pure evil” and called them as bad as “the worst rampages of ISIS”.
“It’s terrorism and it’s nothing new,” said the president.
“We have to be crystal clear, we stand with Israel. We will make sure it has what it needs to defend itself and respond to this attack.”
The White House also confirmed the deaths of 14 Americans in Israel since clashes broke out on Saturday and said American citizens were among the hostages being held by Hamas.
They confirmed that 20 or more were currently missing, but did not specify the exact number of those being held hostage.
Malala Yousafzai, who was killed by a Taliban gunman in 2012, called for an “immediate ceasefire” in the conflict in Israel, saying she was “sorry” for Palestinian and Israeli children “caught in the middle”.
In a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, Ms Yousafzai, 26, said she was “only 11 years old” when she “witnessed violence and terrorism” and that “peace became something we could only dream of”.
In 2012, a Taliban gunman shot Ms. Yousafzai in the head while she was riding home from school on a bus in Pakistan’s Swat Valley.
She was then 15 years old.
She wrote: “War never spares children – neither those kidnapped from their homes in Israel, nor those hiding from airstrikes or without food and water in Gaza. Today I mourn for all the children and people who yearn for peace and justice in the Holy Land.”
More than 3,000 people have been killed on both sides since Hamas stormed the border and massacred hundreds in a surprise attack.
After Hamas threatened to execute some of the 150 civilian hostages, Israel launched a relentless barrage of airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
The militants are now reportedly planning to release harrowing footage of the Israeli hostages after the terror group threatened a major rocket attack on the port city of Ashkelon.
On Monday, Hamas’ armed wing said it would begin executing an Israeli prisoner and broadcast footage for every civilian house bombed in Gaza without warning.
Israeli schools have sent a message to parents to immediately remove apps like TikTok and Instagram from their children’s phones to avoid exposing them to explicit content.
Israel earlier urged civilians in Gaza to flee south to Egypt ahead of a general ground offensive as Hamas bombards the Israeli city of Ashkelon with rockets.
The Israeli army is massing 173,000 troops – including 8,000 elite commandos – along with 300 tanks, artillery pieces and rocket launchers in the border town of Sderot.
An additional 300,000 reserve troops are ready before the planned invasion.
The Israel Defense Forces have also reportedly begun laying mines as they blockade the Gaza Strip, cutting off food, water and electricity supplies.
The US is also moving several warships – including the USS Gerald Ford – and aircraft to the Mediterranean after Joe Biden pledged Washington’s “firm” support for Tel Aviv.
